CHAPTER 31: THE PUBLICATION

The book came out six months later.
It was called "The Driver."
It sold out in the first week.
People sent me letters.
Emails.
Messages.
They thanked me.
They shared their own stories.
They told me I'd given them hope.
I read every single one.
And I cried.
Because I knew what it felt like to be alone.
To feel invisible.
To wonder if anyone cared.
But now I knew.
People cared.
They always had.
They just needed someone to show them.
And I had done that.
May you like
I had shown them.
And that was the greatest gift of all.
