Julian’s corporate helicopter was inspected secretly.
A mechanic found a tampered fuel line.
The sabotage was subtle enough to fail in flight.
The mechanic who last serviced it disappeared.
Mateo found him at a motel.
He admitted Raymond paid him.
He also admitted Bianca personally delivered the cash.
Julian finally had evidence connecting her to a planned death.
Nora prepared warrants.
But Raymond vanished.
Bianca remained inside the mansion.
Julian decided to keep the wedding alive for forty-eight more hours.
They needed Raymond to surface.
Bianca sensed something.
That night she entered Julian’s bedroom and asked.
“Do you still love me?”
He looked at the woman who had planned his funeral.
“I’m trying to remember who I loved.”
Her face tightened.
Then she kissed him.
After she left, Julian found a tiny needle puncture in the wine cork she had brought.
The bottle tested positive for a fast-acting sedative.
