Chapter 19 - A Wedding in the Garden

Nine months later.

The estate gardens were decorated with white roses, twinkling fairy lights, and elegant linen tables.

It was a beautiful, clear summer afternoon.

There were no massive crowds, no reporters, and no high-society pretension.

Just forty of our closest friends, our loyal staff, and family.

Daniel stood at the end of the flower-lined altar in a sharp black tuxedo, looking handsome, confident, and deeply at peace.

Clara walked down the aisle in a simple, stunning white lace gown, holding a bouquet of wildflowers.

Her smile was bright enough to light up the entire estate.

I sat in the front row beside Rosa and Luis, feeling a profound, quiet joy filling my heart.

When the minister asked for the rings, Daniel pulled out his father's restored gold pocket watch before placing a delicate diamond band on Clara’s finger.

"With this ring, I promise to honor you, protect you, and love you with an open heart," Daniel spoke clearly, his voice echoing across the quiet lawn.

"I pronounce you husband and wife," the minister declared.

The small crowd burst into warm applause and cheers as Daniel pulled Clara into a passionate, loving kiss.

I stood up, clapping proudly as tears of happiness rained down my cheeks.
