Caleb stepped into the doorway, out of breath and dripping with sweat.

"You need to come down right now."
"Madison is causing a massive scene in the driveway."
Adrian did not turn around.

"Look at this, Caleb," Adrian said softly.
Caleb froze in the doorway.
His eyes darted to the secret cedar panel standing open.
His face drained of all color within seconds.
"What... what is that?" Caleb whispered, his voice cracking.
Adrian turned slowly to face his younger brother.
"It’s Claire’s voice from the grave," Adrian said.
"She says Madison stole forty million dollars."
"She says Madison killed her to cover it up."
Caleb swallowed hard, his throat moving nervously.
"Adrian, that’s crazy," Caleb stammered, stepping backward into the hall.
"Claire was delusional before she died!"
"You know how paranoid she was getting!"
"She was seeing enemies everywhere!"
Natalie walked up to Caleb and looked directly into his eyes.
"Why are you defending Madison?" Natalie asked, her voice dangerously sharp.
