Chapter 9 - Rachel says I sabotaged her

Rachel’s attorney sent a letter accusing me of:
Business interference.
Unauthorized dissemination of confidential documents.
Defamation.
Intentional economic harm.
The family group message included:
Actual contracts.
Actual vendor letters.
A note from me:
Everyone should read these before agreeing to any more Rachel-managed events.
I had not called her:
Thief.
Fraudster.
Criminal.
That mattered.
The documents came from:
Thomas.
Judith.
Vendor emails sent to Hale account members.
No hacked computer.
No stolen passwords.
Still, some materials were commercially sensitive.
My attorney advised:
“No more group-chat evidence dumps.”
Fair.
Rachel then wrote Mark:
Your wife has wanted me destroyed since the day she realized Mom likes me more than Lily.
Mark replied:
Do not bring Lily into this.
Rachel:
She already did.
Then:
Corinne knows if my business fails, Dad’s investment disappears. She wants you to become the only successful Hale child.
There it was.
Sibling competition.
Money.
Approval.

Status.
But it still did not explain why Rachel believed she could risk everyone else’s finances.
