Chapter 18: The Counterattack

I didn't waste time feeling sorry for myself.

I called my father.

"We need to move fast."

"I'm listening."

"He's got twelve million. He's using it to rebuild. He's already got investors."

"How do you know?"

"Because I know him. He's not going to stop. He's going to keep coming until he wins."

"So we stop him first."

"Exactly."

"What do you need?"

"Everything. I need every document. Every contract. Every piece of evidence that shows he forged my signature."

"That's a lot."

"I know."

"But it's possible."

"Then do it."

My father nodded.

"I'll get the team on it."

"Thanks, Dad."

I hung up.

The next few weeks were chaos.

Lawyers. Accountants. Forensic experts.

We dug through years of paperwork.

And we found everything.

The forged signatures. The fake accounts. The lies.

It was all there.

And it was all going to destroy him.
