The revelation that Luca might have another child nearly broke Clara.
Luca insisted he knew nothing about it.
An anonymous message reached the bunker.

CLARA KNOWS THE MOTHER.
Clara finally named Isabella Maren, Luca's college girlfriend.
Isabella had called Luca shortly before his disappearance and left a message saying he needed to know the truth.
Luca had never returned the call because he believed his communications were compromised.
Mateo located Isabella in Switzerland.
She worked as director of archival services for the Helvetia Private Trust Registry in Zurich, exactly where Victor said the Vale ledger was stored.
Before we could depart, Dr. Reeves called again.
He had rerun the genetic records.
Emma matched Luca as her father.
She matched me as her uncle.
But Marcus did not match Luca as a biological father.
There was another paternal match.
Adrian Mercer Sr.
Luca was not Marcus Vale's biological son.
His mother was Eleanor Vale, but his biological father came from the Mercer line.
That made little Emma both Vale and Mercer by blood.
