The jury convicted Rachel of multiple counts related to child abuse, coercion, evidence fabrication, fraud, and conspiracy.
Not every charge.
Some allegations lacked enough proof.
That mattered.

Daniel Cross pleaded guilty to fraud, conspiracy, evidence tampering, and professional misconduct.
He lost his license.
Dr. Hale lost his license after the board found serious ethical violations.
The school changed its reporting procedures.
The principal apologized to Sophie privately.

Sophie did not need a ceremony.
Rachel was sentenced to prison and ordered to have no contact with Sophie unless future professionals and courts determined it was safe.
At sentencing, Rachel looked at me.
“You turned her against me.”
I did not answer.
Then she looked at Sophie’s empty seat.
Sophie had chosen not to attend.
That absence said more than anything I could have.
After court, Lena handed me a copy of the first hospital report.
I stared at the line documenting Sophie’s words.
Mother pushed me into door handle and instructed me not to tell father.
One sentence.
Time-stamped.
Signed.
Preserved.
