Chapter 4 - THE BENTLEY WAS NEVER HERS

The Bentley became family gossip.
“Carmine took Helena’s car.”
No.
I took a key fob.
Then dropped it in dirty water like an angry man in a movie.
The trustees did the actual work.
Bellucci Estate Mobility LLC owned:
Nine sedans.
Four SUVs.
Two vans.
Three ceremonial vintage cars.
One Bentley allocated to Helena as Estate Services Chair.
Her privilege agreement stated:
Vehicle access may be suspended pending investigation of misuse, unsafe conduct, or material breach of stewardship duties.
The trustees suspended access the next morning.
Not because I ordered.
Because using an estate asset as leverage in coercive child labor and falsifying the cause of damage created obvious conduct concerns.
Helena retained:
Her personal Mercedes.
Her own money.
Her home.
Her salary from an unrelated family investment entity.
She was not stranded at a bus stop.
Still, losing the Bentley humiliated her.
That told me the car had become more than transportation.
It was office.
Status.
A moving crest.
She had spent years arriving at Villa Bellucci in that car while staff opened the door.
Then I understood the fear in her face when I said:
Now it’s not your car anymore.
The sentence accidentally hit the center.
Estate authority had given her the car.
May you like
Estate authority could remove it.
She knew the audit might remove more.
