Chapter 20 - THE DRIVER WHO CAME BACK

One former driver, Thomas Reid, had left after arguing with Helena over a $6,000 damage claim.
He returned years later as a fleet consultant.
Not because we owed him a destiny.
He was good.
During his first meeting, Helena happened to be present as a guest.
Awkward.
She approached.
“I’m sorry.”
Thomas said:
“I know.”
Then:
“You don’t have to forgive me.”
“I know that too.”
