Ethan spent the next few weeks trying to find Victoria.
But she was good at hiding.
She had changed her appearance, changed her name, changed everything.
She was a ghost.
And Ethan knew that she was planning something.
Something big.
Something that would destroy them.

She didn't leave the house.
She kept Victor close at all times.
She slept with one eye open.
She was living in constant fear.

One night, Clara heard a noise outside her window.
She looked out, and she saw a figure standing in the shadows.
She screamed.
Ethan came running.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Someone's out there."
Ethan looked out the window.
But there was no one there.

Clara was shaking.
"Ethan, I'm so scared."
"I know. I'm scared too."
"Ethan, what are we going to do?"
"We're going to fight. We're going to fight for our family."
"Ethan, I don't know if I can do this."
"Yes, you can. You're the strongest person I know."
"Ethan, I'm not strong."
"Yes, you are. You've been through so much. And you're still standing."
"Ethan, I don't know if I can keep standing."
"Yes, you can. I'll be right here with you."

The next morning, Clara found a note taped to her front door.
It was from Victoria.
"You can run," it said, "but you can't hide."
Clara felt her blood run cold.
She was being hunted.
And there was nowhere to hide.

Ethan increased security around the house.
He hired more guards.
He installed more cameras.
He did everything he could to protect his family.
But it wasn't enough.
Because Victoria was determined.
And she was patient.
She was willing to wait.

One afternoon, Clara was in the garden with Victor.
She turned her back for just a moment.
When she turned around, Victor was gone.
She screamed.
Ethan came running.
"Where's Victor?" he demanded.
"I don't know. I turned my back for one second, and he was gone."
"Victor!" Ethan shouted.
They searched everywhere.
But Victor was nowhere to be found.
