Chapter 11 - The Wedding

They were married three months later.
It was a small ceremony, just family and close friends.
Clara wore a white dress and held her son in her arms.
Ethan stood beside her, his eyes filled with tears of joy.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too," she said.
"Forever?"
"Forever."

A photograph of Veronica, standing outside the prison gates.
She had been released.
Clara's heart stopped.
She turned the photograph over, and on the back was a message:
"I'm coming for you."
