Chapter 14 - The Alliance Proves Its Strength

The Northern Pack attacked at dawn.

Malachi had finally made his move, believing that Ivy was too weak from her battle with the curse to defend herself.

He was wrong.

"The Wolves are coming!" Selene shouted, her voice carrying across the estate.

Ivy was already awake, already transformed.

The wolf inside her was eager for battle.

"We fight together," she said, her voice resonating with ancient power. "We stand together."

Damian shifted into his wolf form, his massive body ready to defend his pack.

And then the attack began.

The Northern Pack swept through the estate like a tidal wave, their warriors driven by Malachi's promise of power.

But they hadn't counted on Ivy's new abilities.

She moved through the battlefield like a force of nature.

Her claws carved through Malachi's warriors, and her golden eyes struck fear into the hearts of even the bravest wolves.

"Is this all you've got?" she taunted.

Malachi appeared at the edge of the battlefield, his silver-white fur blazing in the morning light.

"Impressive," he admitted. "But not enough."

He charged at her, his massive body moving with terrifying speed.

Ivy met him head-on, their claws clashing with a sound like thunder.

"You've grown stronger," Malachi observed.

"I've become stronger than you could imagine," Ivy replied. "Because I've finally accepted what I am."

She struck with blinding speed, her claws finding the gap in Malachi's armor.

He went down, his blood staining the earth.

"Mercy," he begged.

Ivy looked down at him, and for a moment, she felt the old Ivy stirring.

The woman who had been betrayed and beaten but had never lost her humanity.

"You're not worth it," she replied. "I'm not going to kill you. I'm going to let you live with the knowledge that you lost to someone you considered beneath you."

She walked away from him, her head held high.
