He was hiding in a small town in Nevada, using a fake identity. He was arrested and brought back to face charges.
The trial was brief.
With Arthur's evidence and Sarah's recordings, Mark was convicted of fraud, conspiracy, and attempted coercion.
He was sentenced to fifteen years in federal prison.
Lena tried to appeal her conviction, but the recordings were too damning. Her sentence was increased to eight years.
Sarah watched the verdict from the courtroom gallery.
