My Bride Slapped Me And Humiliated Me At Our Wedding… Then Ran Off With A Rich Heir
Chapter 1: The Wedding Disaster
The wedding hall fell into shocked silence as the sharp sound of a slap echoed through the room.
Ethan stood frozen at the altar in his tailored black tux, his cheek burning red from where Claire had just hit him. The woman he was supposed to marry in less than five minutes glared at him with pure disgust.
“You pathetic loser!” Claire hissed, her designer wedding dress sparkling under the lights. “Did you really think I would marry a nobody like you? A mechanic who can barely pay rent?”
The guests gasped. Ethan’s mother covered her mouth in horror.
“Claire… what are you doing?” Ethan’s voice was low, hurt. “We’ve been together for four years. I gave you everything I had.”
Claire laughed bitterly and threw her bouquet on the floor. “Everything? You gave me cheap flowers and promises. Kevin just offered me a trip to Paris and a penthouse in the city. His family owns half of downtown!”
At that moment, Kevin Lang — the arrogant son of a billionaire real estate tycoon — stepped out from the crowd in an expensive white suit. He smirked and held out his hand to Claire.
“Baby, you ready to leave this trash behind?”
Claire didn’t hesitate. She walked straight to Kevin, kissed him passionately in front of everyone, then turned back to Ethan one last time.
“You were just a stepping stone, Ethan. A sad, broke joke. I never loved you. I deserve better.”
She took Kevin’s arm and walked out of the church, leaving Ethan standing alone at the altar as whispers and pitying looks filled the room.
Ethan’s best friend, Marcus, rushed up to him. “Bro… I’m so sorry.”
Ethan clenched his fists, eyes burning with humiliation and pain. “It’s fine. Maybe she’s right. Maybe I am nothing.”
But as he turned to leave, a tall, sharply dressed man in a dark suit blocked his path. The stranger’s voice was calm but powerful.
“Ethan Hayes?”
“Yeah… who are you?”
May you like
The man smiled slightly. “I’m Daniel Voss. Your father. And it’s time you stopped living like a poor mechanic.”
