My Ex Boyfriend And His New Rich Girlfriend Pushed Me Into The Pool… Not Knowing I’d Come Back As The Heiress They Bullied

Chapter 1: The Pool Party Humiliation

The laughter hit harder than the cold water ever could.

Mia stood dripping at the edge of the luxurious rooftop pool, her cheap sundress clinging to her body, mascara running down her cheeks. She couldn’t swim. Everyone knew that.

“Look at her,” Jenna — her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend — laughed loudly, flipping her perfectly curled hair. “Still wearing that ugly dress from three years ago? Some people never change.”

Jake, Mia’s ex of two years, stood beside Jenna with his arm around her waist, smirking. “Babe, be nice. Mia used to be fun… before she became a boring waitress who couldn’t keep up with my lifestyle.”

The crowd of rich influencers and trust-fund kids chuckled. Someone recorded on their phone.

Mia’s voice shook. “Jake… I only came because you said it was a group thing. I didn’t know—”

“Didn’t know I’d be here with my actual girlfriend?” Jake cut her off, laughing. “Come on, Mia. We broke up because you’re going nowhere. Jenna’s dad owns half the city. What do you have? Minimum wage and daddy issues?”

Jenna stepped closer, her designer heels clicking. “Pathetic. Girls like you should stay in your lane.” Without warning, she shoved Mia hard in the chest.

Mia’s arms flailed as she fell backward into the deep end of the pool.

Water rushed over her head. Panic exploded in her chest. She thrashed wildly, lungs burning, sinking fast. She couldn’t swim. The world blurred into blue and terror.

Voices above the water laughed. “She’s faking it!” someone yelled.

Just as black spots filled her vision, strong arms wrapped around her and pulled her to the surface.

Mia coughed violently, gasping for air as she was lifted onto the pool deck. A tall, imposing man in a tailored black shirt knelt beside her, his face tight with fury.

“Are you okay?” he asked, voice deep and steady, gently brushing wet hair from her face.

Jake’s smirk faded. “Who the hell are you?”

The man stood up slowly, towering over everyone. His presence made the entire party go quiet.

“I’m Alexander Voss,” he said coldly. “And you just tried to drown my fiancée.”
