CHAPTER 1 — THE MESSAGE ON THE WEDDING MORNING
CHAPTER 1 — THE MESSAGE ON THE WEDDING MORNING
Emily woke up thinking today would be the happiest day of her life.
Her wedding dress hung by the window. Soft morning light spilled across the hotel room. Everything felt perfect.
Then her phone buzzed.
Unknown number.
She frowned. “Who the hell…?”
A message popped up:
“Don’t marry him.”
Emily blinked. “Okay… creepy.”
Then another message came.
An attached photo loaded slowly.
Her breath stopped.
It was Daniel—her fiancé—kissing another woman.
Inside the same hotel.
Same lighting. Same curtains. Same room style.
Emily’s fingers tightened. “No… no, that’s not real.”
She zoomed in.
His hand on the woman’s face.
Her lipstick slightly smudged.
The timestamp hit her like a punch:
7:42 AM — today
Emily whispered, “That’s less than an hour ago…”
She ran out of the room barefoot, phone shaking in her hand. The hallway was silent except for her heartbeat.
She reached Daniel’s suite.
The door was slightly open.
Inside, she heard his voice.
“Just… calm down. It’s not what it looks like.”
A woman’s voice answered softly. “You said she wouldn’t find out.”
Emily froze.
Her wedding day just turned into something else.
And the worst part?
May you like
The door slowly began to open from the inside.
Someone had heard her breathing.
