“Move. You’re blocking the hall.”
The shove came first.
Then the laughter.
Jason Miller stumbled slightly as his backpack hit the tiled floor of Westbridge Elite Academy.
Designer shoes stepped over him.
No one helped.
A group of students filmed it instead.
“Bro, that’s the scholarship kid again.”
“Does he even belong here?”
Jason picked up his books quietly. No reaction. No anger.
Just silence.
From the balcony above, the student council president leaned over.
“Honestly, people like you should be grateful we even allow you inside.”
More laughter echoed through the hallway.
Jason looked up.
Then looked away.
“Sorry,” he said softly.
And walked toward his class.
Behind him, someone kicked his backpack again.
“Say it properly. Say thank you.”
Jason stopped.
For half a second.
Then nodded.
“Thank you.”
The group laughed harder.
“Pathetic.”
What none of them saw was the small black device clipped under Jason’s school ID.
