SHE WAS SHOVED ONTO A WEDDING CAKE… THEN THE MICROPHONE TURNED ON AND EXPOSED EVERYTHING

CHAPTER 1: THE FALL INTO HUMILIATION

The wedding reception was supposed to be perfect.

White flowers. Soft music. A packed church hall filled with smiling guests.

Then Emily Carter’s world ended in one second.

“You really thought you belonged here?”

Victoria Blake’s voice cut through the celebration like a blade.

Before Emily could react, Victoria shoved her.

Hard.

Emily stumbled backward—straight into the wedding cake.

Gasps exploded across the room.

The cake collapsed under her weight.

White frosting, sugar flowers, and tiers of celebration crushed under her body.

Her dress soaked in cream and destruction.

Emily froze.

“Jason…” she whispered.

Her husband didn’t move.

Didn’t help.

Didn’t even step forward.

Instead, he sighed.

Like she was the problem.

Victoria smiled.

Slow.

Satisfied.

“She’s been lying to you, Jason,” Victoria said loudly. “This woman doesn’t belong in your family.”

Emily tried to stand.

Her hands trembled.

“I didn’t do anything—”

Linda Miller, Jason’s mother, stepped forward.

And said the words that shattered her completely:

“Jason did you a favor marrying you.”

Laughter rippled through the guests.

Emily felt something break inside her chest.

Then Victoria leaned closer.

“And that baby?” she whispered. “It was never meant to secure OUR inheritance.”

Emily froze.

“What… inheritance?”

Jason’s expression flickered.

Just for a second.

But Emily saw it.

That was enough.

Because behind her…

The church microphone was still ON.

May you like

And nobody noticed.

Yet.
