CHAPTER 2: FROM MILLIONAIRE TO NOTHING

Within weeks, Ethan lost everything.

His accounts were gone.

His reputation was destroyed.

News headlines called him a fraud.

Former friends disappeared overnight.

Even worse, prosecutors opened an investigation.

Although Ethan was eventually cleared, the damage was done.

No company would hire him.

One rainy night, Ethan sat alone in his car.

He had exactly forty-three dollars left.

His phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Ethan? It's your uncle Henry."

Ethan hadn't spoken to Henry in years.

"I heard what happened," Henry said.

"Come to Montana. I have work for you."

Desperate, Ethan agreed.

For the next five years, Ethan worked on Henry's cattle ranch.

Hard labor.

No luxury.

No suits.

No private jets.

At first, Ethan hated it.

Then something changed.

Henry taught him business, investing, and patience.

"You lost because you trusted people blindly," Henry said.

"Never make that mistake again."

One day, Henry handed Ethan a folder.

"I've been investing in your name for five years."

Ethan opened it.

His eyes widened.

The investments were worth over eighty million dollars.

Before Ethan could speak, Henry smiled.

"Ready to go home?"

That same evening, Ethan saw a business magazine.

On the cover were Olivia and Mason.

Headline:

"WALKER REALTY ON THE VERGE OF BANKRUPTCY."

Ethan smiled for the first time in years.

May you like

"It's time."
