They Beat Their Adopted Daughter and Threw Her Into the Rain... Ten Years Later She Returned as the Woman Who Owned Their Empire

CHAPTER 1: THE NIGHT THEY THREW HER OUT

The slap came so hard Ava Bennett hit the floor.

“Ungrateful trash!”

Her adoptive mother stood over her, breathing hard, diamond bracelet shining under the hallway light.

Ava’s cheek burned.

Her little suitcase lay open beside her, clothes scattered across the marble floor.

Her adoptive sister, Chloe, laughed from the staircase.

“Look at her. Still pretending she belongs here.”

Ava looked toward the man she had called father for fifteen years.

“Dad… please…”

Richard Bennett did not move.

He only said one sentence.

“You were never ours.”

The words hurt worse than the slap.

Ava slowly stood.

Rain hammered against the windows.

Her mother pointed toward the front door.

“Get out. Tonight.”

Ava’s voice trembled.

“I have nowhere to go.”

Chloe smiled.

“Then sleep where girls like you belong.”

Ava picked up her broken suitcase.

At the door, she turned once.

“Someday you’ll regret this.”

Richard laughed.

“You?”

He stepped closer.

“You are nothing without this family.”

Ava looked at them through tears.

Then walked into the rain.

Behind her, the door slammed shut.

And the Bennett family erased her name before sunrise.

May you like

They should have erased her memory too.

Because Ava remembered everything.
