🎬 PART 2: «The Mother They Hid in Uniform»

The toddler’s tiny black shoes tapped across the marble floor.

Three glamorous women knelt beneath the chandeliers, arms open, smiles perfect for the room.

The woman in white leaned forward.

“Come here, darling.”

Guests whispered softly, watching like the child’s heart was entertainment.

But the boy didn’t smile.

He looked past the gowns.

Past the diamonds.

Past the people waiting for him to choose the “right” woman.

Then he saw her.

A maid had just entered from the side door, carrying a silver tray with trembling hands.

The second she saw him, her face changed.

Fear.

Love.

Pain.

The toddler broke into a run.

He passed the women in red, green, and white without stopping.

Then he crashed into the maid’s legs and cried, “Mom!”

The tray fell.

Silver scattered across the marble.

The whole ballroom went dead silent.

The maid dropped to her knees and held him like she had been starving for that hug.

The woman in white stood slowly, pale.

“Why does he call her Mama?”

The maid held him tighter, tears falling.

“You promised he would never know.”
