Board members who had stayed silent for years suddenly spoke in coordinated precision.
Bank accounts were frozen.

Shell companies Marcus had used as “proof of ownership” were quietly dissolved.
Every hotel he believed he controlled… stopped recognizing him.
At 11:47 PM, his corporate phone rang.
He answered, annoyed.
“Marcus speaking.”
A calm voice responded:
“Good evening. This is the legal office of the Liang Family Trust.”
Silence.
Then:
“Effective immediately, your employment contracts across all properties are terminated.”
Marcus stood up so fast his chair fell.
“This is my company!”

Then the voice replied:
“No, sir. You were managing assets you never owned.”
