First Lady Melania Trump appeared to give her husband a strong and terse reprimand during a tense moment as they prepared to watch a military flyover at the White House in honor of King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s State Visit on Tuesday, April 28.

Melania, 56, and her husband, Donald Trump, 79, greeted the monarch at the White House as they made their visit to the United States, and all four appeared on the Truman Balcony together to watch a military flyover commemorating the historic moment. Now, shortly after the first lady’s chilling words as shots rang out at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend were exposed, her tense interaction with her husband at their latest public event has also been revealed.

As the foursome stood on the balcony ahead of the flyover, Trump was seen conversing with both the king and his wife. While his interactions with Charles, 77, appeared to be positive, it was a different story when it came to at least one interaction with Melania. According to lip reader Nicola Hickling, the pair appeared at odds in one particular moment, with Melania even issuing a two-word warning. “You’ve started now,” she allegedly said to Trump, to which he replied, “What, bear with me?” It was there that Melania appeared to issue her reprimand. “Act nice,” she said. “It’s a beautiful day," as Trump appeared to respond, “Yeah, I’m proud of all you’ve done." It came as Trump was caught on camera doing a shocking act to Melania at an inappropriate moment.

The Trumps were both evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, April 25, one day before her birthday, after a gunman opened fire at a security checkpoint in an attempt to gain access to the president and assassinate him.

It was the third assassination attempt on Trump since 2024, when he was first grazed by a bullet after a gunman opened fire at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Cole Tomas Allen, a 31-year-old teacher from California, has since been charged with the attempt.
